Josie Dowling serves as the Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Academic Affairs at Marian University, she also provides administrative support to the Dean of Student Success, the Dean of Faculty, and the Senior Vice President of University Relations. In this role, Josie plays a key part in supporting academic leadership and fostering collaboration across campus departments to promote student-centered success.

Originally from Southern California, Josie relocated to Wisconsin in 2022 and has enjoyed becoming part of the Marian University community. She is currently a double major in Psychology and Healthcare Administration at Marian University, with academic interests focused on mental health, well-being, and the systems that support access to care and student success. Her studies reflect her commitment to understanding both the individual and organizational aspects of wellness.

In her free time, Josie enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, wrangling life with their six dogs, and making memories with friends while exploring all that Wisconsin has to offer. A self-described nerd, she loves building LEGO sets, embracing her curiosity, and finding joy in the little things. Whenever possible, Josie travels back to California to visit family and indulge her love of Disneyland, a place that perfectly matches her appreciation for imagination, creativity, and connection.
