Gale Chovanec
Gale Chovanec, R.D.H., M.Ed., began teaching at Marian University in 2021. She currently teaches two courses– DHY 315 – Health Equity in Diverse Populations and DHY 495 – Dental Hygiene Capstone Practicum in the B.S.D.H. online degree completion program.
Gale grew up in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. She is a graduate of St. Mary’s Springs High School. Her college degrees include an A.A.S. degree in dental hygiene from Madison Area Technical College and B.S.D.H. and M.Ed. degrees from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities.
She has lived in Minnesota since 1982. From 1984 – 2020, she was a dental hygiene instructor at a community college. She also taught in a B.S.D.H. degree completion program for a state university in Minnesota.
Gale thoroughly enjoys teaching courses in an online degree completion program which gives dental hygienists an opportunity to obtain a bachelor’s degree.
