Peter Capoyianes
Peter Capoyianes is one of the undergraduate academic advisors at Marian University.
Prior to coming to Marian, he served as a full-time healthcare chaplain for 9 years. In this role at St. Agnes Hospital, he worked in the ICU and was the chaplain on the ethics committee, serving as chair in 2024-2025. Peter has also worked as a church youth director and as an adjunct instructor of religious education at Marian.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liturgical Music from Marian University, a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, and a Master of Arts in Bioethics and Health Policy from Loyola University. His academic and professional interests include theology, philosophy, ethics, musicals, and jazz. Peter enjoys playing trombone in his free time and has been a member of the Fond du Lac Symphonic Band since 2007, sitting on the organization’s board of directors since 2021. He currently resides in Fond du Lac with his wife, son, and daughter.
