As a Fond du Lac native, Kylene Schwark enjoys sharing the stories, successes, and everyday moments that make Marian University a meaningful part of the community. As the Administrative Assistant for the Office of Marketing and Communication, she helps tell Marian’s story both online and in person through media releases, social media support, campus events, and daily communication. Her responsibilities include organizing content for marketing materials, assisting with website updates, managing schedules across advertising and public relations efforts, and highlighting the achievements of students, alumni, faculty, and staff. Kylene is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing at Marian, giving her a unique perspective on student life and campus engagement.

Before joining the Marian community, Kylene attended the University of Iowa on a four-year scholarship and performed as the “Golden Girl” featured baton twirler with the Hawkeye Marching Band. She is now an NBTA-certified baton twirling judge and enjoys teaching young twirlers at Julie’s Touch of Silver.

Kylene is also involved with the Miss America Opportunity, having served as Miss Wisconsin’s Teen in 2016 and Miss Wisconsin in 2022. She continues to give back to this organization as a volunteer, sponsor, emcee, and judge. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors and with her family.
