2019 Academic Symposium
Sadoff Auditorium, Stayer Center
Tabletop roleplaying games like Dungeons & Dragons facilitate the co-creation of stories and narratives through a system of rules and world building tools by the individuals engaging in the game experience. These individuals share roles as both players and gamemasters that interact with one another to create stories. In this session our panel will explore how this medium is effective at storytelling and what makes it a unique and valuable framework for creating narratives.
