The radiologic technology program at Marian was one of the first in the state offering the Bachelor of Science degree, and involves a carefully crafted curriculum that integrates extensive hands-on learning with a valuable liberal arts core. In the field of radiologic technology throughout the state, the Marian name commands respect. We’ve established a unique programmatic offering, in which we’ve partnered with other hospital-based radiologic certificate programs in Wisconsin for those students who desire to have a clinical experience in a larger urban setting. Students accepted into the program continue as Marian students and can pursue their Bachelor of Science degree at the end of the certificate program.
The radiologic technology program has earned a truly esteemed reputation largely because of the success our graduates have achieved throughout Wisconsin. When you complete the program, you’ll be eligible to sit for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT national examination and, upon passage, will be granted the title of Radiologic Technologist – Registered (R.T., R.). In 2014, graduates of the radiologic technology program earned a 100 percent pass rate on the first attempt on the ARRT exam, and ranked in the 96th percentile across the nation. All of our 2014 graduates also found job placement within six months of graduation.
