Student-Athlete Advisory Committee

The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is comprised of student-athletes, assembled to provide insight on the student-athlete experience. SAAC also offers input on policies that affect student-athletes' lives on NCAA member institution campuses. The mission of SAAC is to enhance the total student-athlete experience by promoting opportunity for all student-athletes, protecting student-athlete welfare, and fostering a positive student-athlete image while maintaining the tenets of the Division III philosophy.

Fun Fact

Although founded as a women’s college, Hal F. Hornby, superintendent of Fond du Lac rural schools, was the first male student to attend classes in 1940. He attended art and music classes with his wife (Source: Marian University Archives).
