The School of Education commissioning ceremonyis a “rite to passage” into the teaching profession for graduating education students. Each student will receive a specially designed pin that symbolizes the educator’s responsibility to promote and respect life and to always search for truth in promoting learning.

School of Nursing Pinning Ceremony Friday, May 17, 2013

Location: Sadoff Gymnasium – Marian University Campus
• Reception to follow the ceremony
The School of Nursing pinning ceremony is a special event for graduates of the BSN and MSN degree programs. As we celebrate their commitment to compassionate care in the tradition of Marian nursing graduates, BSN graduates will receive the unique Marian University BSN pins and MSN graduates will receive MSN pins and MSN academic hoods.
All participants in the pinning ceremony must RSVP by April 1, 2013.

Location: Dorcas Chapel – Marian University Campus
Families and friends of all faiths are welcome to join members of Marian University Class of 2012-13, faculty, staff and community in a Mass of thanksgiving. There is no assigned seating or special attire. Graduates, families and friends sit together.
Volunteers are welcome to assist with the liturgy. If interested, contact Sr. Marie Scott, Campus Minister, (920) 923-7624 or email mscott@marianuniversity.edu.

COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY
Saturday, May 18, 2013
Time: 12:30 pm
Location: Marian University Campus Quad
All graduates will meet at the Stayer Center for robing no later than 11:45 a.m.
Seating will be provided. Lawn chairs will be permitted and are suggested to insure adequate guest seating. Please indicate on the left how many guests will be attending the ceremony (not including yourself).
Each degree candidate will receive two wristbands in case of inclement weather for the indoor reserved seating area. Other seating will be provided for viewing the ceremony in satellite areas around campus.
