Marian Groups Take Part in Jazz Fest

FOND DU LAC, Wis. — Marian University Jazz Studies students will open for professional jazz artists at this year’s Fond du Lac Jazz Festival on April 27 and 28 at the Windhover Center for the Arts.

Doors open at 6:00 p.m. on both nights, with the Marian groups starting at 7:30 p.m. The groups will be followed at 8:00 p.m. on Friday by trumpeter Tony Scodwell and the Lighthouse Big Band and on Saturday by trombonist/vocalist Scott Whitfield and vocalist Ginger Gerglund, also accompanied by the Lighthouse Big Band.

Single tickets for this event are $15 for one night and $25 for both nights. Four-seat tables are available for $80 per night or $140 for both nights. Tickets are available for purchase at Mike’s Music, the Windhover Center for the Arts and The Goldsmith.
