Off-Campus Access 

Marian University students, faculty and staff may access Cardinal Meyer Library databases from off campus.  A Marian University ID card is required.  When you click on the name of a database, you will be prompted to enter your name, the barcode number found on the back of your Marian University ID, and a self-assigned PIN (Personal Identification Number).  See the following example:

Prompt Description Example
Name Your name as it appears on your Marian University ID  John Smith
Barcode 14-digit code on the back of your Marian University ID 219360001111111 (no spaces)
PIN Self assigned Personal Identification Number  3mar (any combination of at least 4 numbers or letters)

Please Note:

  • If you do not have a Marian University ID card or have misplaced it, call the Library Circulation Desk (920) 923-7641, or email circdesk@marianuniversity.edu    
  • If you have forgotten your PIN, you can either reset it yourself using the "Forgot Your PIN?" link or call or email the Circulation Desk.
