Postgraduate Certificate in Nursing Education (Online)

For Registered Nurses who already have an advanced degree in nursing and wish to teach nursing, this certificate program provides the information and practicum experience necessary to teach in academic and non-academic settings. Course content consists of foundations in education, curriculum planning, instructional design, assessment and evaluation. This program includes a 300 hour teaching practicum arranged in the student’s locale. A Nurse Educator Certificate is earned when all courses are successfully completed. Enrollment in one or more courses is an option for the advance practice nurse or nurse educator who desires are fresher.

NUR 672 Nurse Educator Theory I (3 cr)
NUR 673 Nurse Educator Theory II (3 cr)
NUR 675 Nurse Educator Practicum & Role Development (4 cr)
