This program emphasis is inter-disciplinary and designed under the scholar-leader model to develop scholarship and professional competencies that encourage and emphasize self-reflection and strengthen a commitment to leadership. The emphasis is designed to engage participants in the study of leadership which includes developing leadership capacity in others.
The interdisciplinary Ph.D. degree program is designed for working professionals and welcomes students across a broad range of professions, including education, health care, social services, church, government, law enforcement and business.
